The Company

Shirazi Trading Company (Private) Limited (STC) (An Atlas Group Company) was established in 1975 under the Shirazi Trading Company (Private) Limited (STC) (An Atlas Group Company) was established in 1975 under the Companies Act 1913 (now Companies Act 2017) having Registration Number 0004831. STC is also registered with the Federal Board of Revenue of Pakistan (FBR) under NTN 0712130-0. The registered office of the company is situated in Karachi, Sindh. The Company is being regulated by Security and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) and the regulator can be accessed at  www.secp.gov.pk.

The Company is a Large-Sized Entity as defined in the 5th Schedule of the Companies Ordinance, 1984. The Company prepares its annual financial statements on the basis of Accounting and Reporting Standard for Large-Sized Entities (LSEs) which are being audited by Ernst & Young Ford Rhodes, a firm of Chartered Accountants having satisfactory QCR rating.

Shirazi Trading is accredited with ISO 9001:2015 – Certification for Management Systems (UKAS accreditation) certified by Lloyd’s Register. The Company is also a member/affiliate/licentiate of Karachi and Lahore Chambers of Commerce & Industry (KCCI & LCCI), Employer’s Federation of Pakistan, Management Association of Pakistan, Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC), Pakistan Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) and Pakistan Nuclear Regulatory Authority (PNRA).

To maintain the momentum of growth, Shirazi Trading has implemented Oracle’s E-Business Suite (ERP) to automate the after-sales, supply chain, financials, HR and payroll systems. This implementation has not only streamlined operations but has created differentiation for Shirazi Trading in the market place. Shirazi trading has also implemented the “document archiving system” as a step toward attaining its vision of becoming a “Paperless Office”.
