In February 2024, Shirazi Trading Company, took a proactive step towards supporting the health and well-being of female staff of our Group Companies at all offices across the country by arranging awareness sessions. These sessions focused on understanding the importance of early detection and awareness in combating breast cancer.

 

These sessions were skill-fully conducted by our esteemed Application Specialist, Ms. Anum Mahmood, who passionately shared insights, resources, and guidance on breast cancer prevention, early detection, and treatment options. Her expertise and dedication have undoubtedly left a lasting impact on the participants.

Ms. Anum Mahmood – Application and Modality Specialist at Shirazi Trading Company (Pvt) Limited, led an Awareness Session on Breast Cancer in collaboration with Gujrat Welfare Society, on 4th January, 2024. This session, organized by GWS in Sher Grah Village, Kharian, Punjab, aimed to provide basic awareness to women in rural areas about the symptoms, main causes, self-examination, diagnostic procedures, and treatment of breast cancer.

 

Mr. Zariq Naveed – Manager Service and Mr. Muhammad Saad Javaid – Manager OTR at STC, played a crucial role in organizing and ensuring the success of this Corporate Social Responsibility event.

 

Mr. Arif Fahim, the founder of GWS, shown a strong inclination towards initiating additional awareness programs and is also keen on fostering more collaborations with STC for their upcoming activities.

In line with the Group’s Moto “Organization Development through Self-development”, HR Department organized In-house training session on Power BI, 22nd November, 2023, at HRTC conducted by Mr. Nouman Saeed – Manager Accounts for associates across the company (Head Office & South Zone) associates appeared in-person and (Central & North Zone) associates attended virtually.

 

This Training will help participants to use and explore BI in multiple ways to perform their analytical tasks more efficiently, staff also learned sophisticated advance & professional tips to generate reports and present them more professionally.

STC along partnering with GE Healthcare organized Advanced Cardiac CT & MRI workshops for our enthusiastic Radiology & Cardiology fellows from across Pakistan.

Shirazi Trading Company Pvt Ltd., hosted at Pearl Continental Hotel Rawalpindi on November 13 – 14, and Shirazi Trading Company Pvt Ltd., hosted 2^nd event at The Aga Khan University Hospital in Karachi on November 17^th -18 the workshops provided a platform to engage in advanced Cardiac CT and MRI post-processing activities, offering hands-on experience in addressing challenging protocols.

 

Participants refined their expertise, embracing the art and science of diagnosing cardiovascular conditions. @Dr. Saima Mushtaq from Centro Cardiologico Monzino led with a unique blend of Cardiology and Radiology expertise, shedding light on clinical details and providing valuable insights. STC participated in Pakistan Auto Show 2023 held at Expo Centre, Karachi from 27^th-29^th October 2023. STC represented DIAEDGE being the exclusive partners of Mitsubishi Tools in the

Pakistani Market. STC also represented Future Tech Japan’s hardness testers and Kosaka Japan’s measuring equipment.

 

PAPS 2023 provided a forum to the Auto Engineering Sector to showcase its potential to the world. Representatives from related industries, government officials, and buyers also attended the exhibition.
